Higgsfield Text-to-Image Review

In the text-to-image mode, you can use it as a normal text-to-image tool. You can select different models (Seedream, GPT Image, Nano Banana, Nano Banana Pro, etc.), image aspect ratios, image resolutions up to 4K for some models, and the number of images you want to generate.
The image above was generated using GPT Image 2, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a High Quality setting, and 2K resolution. It cost me 7 credits, which is around $0.35 or less (depending on your plan).

Additionally, you can use the hashtag @ to tag your reference in your prompt. Let’s say I want to change the hair color of the woman in the image above; I can use the prompt:
“Change the hair color of the character in @image to blonde hair.”
Hashtags become very useful when you want your image to contain a specific object, character, or scene. You can upload all of those elements and use tags to reference them. For example: “a realistic image of @character holding @object in @location.”
Higgsfield Cinema Studio Review
Every text-to-video model is a slot machine. You write a paragraph describing a character, a location, a mood, and a camera move, hit generate, and the model quietly decides which of those it cares about. Cinema Studio splits the job in two: the prompt describes what happens, and a separate control panel decides how it’s filmed. For example, you can select the video genre (drama, comedy, epic, etc.), style (color palette, lighting, camera moveset style), and camera settings (camera type, lens, focal length, aperture). These customizations are only available if you select Cinema Studio 3.5 as the model.
Below is an example video generated using Cinema Studio 3.5 with the following settings: Genre: Noir, color palette: Classic B&W, camera movement: One Take, and Auto Camera Setting. It uses the following prompt:
“A classic 1940s film noir cinematic scene set inside a dimly lit, smoky jazz bar. A brooding male detective in a trench coat and tilted fedora sits across a small table from a captivating femme fatale. She wears a dark satin dress, holding a burning cigarette as a delicate plume of smoke drifts slowly into the air. Low-key Chiaroscuro lighting creates harsh, dramatic shadows and strong contrasts. Venetian blind shadow patterns sweep across their faces. Slow camera push-in towards the two characters.”
Additionally, you can select from a list of AI models, including Seedance 2.0, Gemini Omni Flash, Kling 3.0, Grok Imagine, etc. Similar to text-to-image, you can select the video aspect ratio, resolution, quality, and number of outputs. Even though other AI models don’t have the option for you to choose the video genre, style, or camera settings, you can still add those elements as instructions in your prompt. AI model like Seedance 2.0 is the best one for creating complex scenes. Below is the example AI action cartoon video scene using Seedance 2.0:
Cinematic high-octane action film sequence. A high-speed car chase tears through the gritty, sun-drenched streets of the Bronx, a black police cruiser aggressively pursuing a metallic blue vintage Ford Mustang. Dynamic low-angle tracking camera following the vehicles as tires smoke and drift past urban brick buildings. Suddenly, the Mustang smoothly shifts into dynamic mechanical transformations, unfolding into a massive, intricate flying mecha robot. The robot propels itself into the sky with glowing jet thrusters, soaring past skyscrapers. Anomorphic lens flare, photorealistic CGI, cinematic motion blur, volumetric dust, intense scale, 8k resolution, photorealistic.
Keep in mind, Seedance 2.0 can detect and guess whether or not you are using a copyrighted character or image. Higgsfield is an aggregator, so when Seedance 2.0 refuses your prompt, Higgsfield can’t do anything about it.
In addition, you can use hashtags to reference your character, object, or scene in the prompt. For example, in the prompt below, I reuse the character that we created to generate a video using Seedance 2.0 model.
The young woman in @image resting her chin on her hand, softly smiling and switching between cute poses for a selfie video, tilting her head slightly, making subtle peace signs and resting her cheeks on both hands. Warm ambient indoor cafe lighting, smooth natural motion, cinematic, 4k.
Higgsfield Cinema Studio and its text-to-video feature only allow video generations up to 15 seconds, and Cinema Studio 3.5 caps at 12 seconds. The workaround is to feed the previous clip back in as a video reference for the next generation, so the model inherits the mood, characters, and lighting, and continues from there.
Higgsfield Cinema Studio rewards people who already has film knowledge and want to control every camera setting, lighting and style. For normal person who don’t know what 35mm, I recommend using normal text-to-video feature or AI model like Seedance. You can put prompt like “dynamic camera” angle and let’s AI figure out the suitable camera pace and angles.
Higgsfield Marketing Studio Review
Paying creators per video for UGC ads is slow and expensive. You brief, you wait, you revise, and you pay again for the next one. Higgsfield Marketing Studio compresses that loop to about two minutes per ad. Within Higgsfield Marketing Studio, you can create realistic UGC videos, unboxing and try-on clips, unboxing ASMR videos, and almost anything else you can think of.
You can also upload your own product image, and character image. Higgsfield will go through an eligibility check to make sure you have a right to build an ad or video from it. That check will takes around 1 minute. For the avatar, you can pick one from the preset library, upload your photo, or write a text prompt that describe your character.
Below is an example of an AI UGC video showing a girl reviewing a cute phone case in her bedroom.
Below is another example of an AI UGC review video for a blender featuring the same character I created for the phone case review.
What makes Higgsfield Marketing Studio so impressive is how naturally its AI avatars convey facial expressions, product feedback, and emotion. You simply provide the script for your UGC video, and the AI automatically determines the appropriate emotional tone for every single line. Equally impressive is how well the AI grasps your product’s physical details, ensuring that when the avatar interacts with the item, it genuinely looks like a real person handling a physical object.
Higgsfield Short Studio Review
If you want to publish more Shorts on your YouTube or Reels on Facebook, but don’t have enough time for editing, then Higgsfield Short Studio is the ideal solution for you. It helps you edit raw short-form footage into a finished short with all the cuts, pacing, formatting, styling, animations, and special effects all figured out. You can choose a different editing style that matches your brand. Even though the name is Short Studio, you create video in a horizontal aspect ratio.
Below is an example of video that is edited using Higgsfield Short Studio.
As you can see, the editing of Higgsfield Short Studio is a little excessive but it’s still interesting to test, especially if you don’t have enough time to edit your video.
Higgsfield Explainer Review
The faceless YouTube format has been proven for years, yet almost nobody starts one, because a ten-minute narrated video has traditionally meant researching a topic, writing a script, generating or sourcing dozens of visuals, recording narration, and cutting the whole thing to match. With the launch of Higgsfield Explainer in July 2026, users can now create a video illustration for their idea in a single click.
You can input your script, attach files, or paste links into the prompt box for the AI to create the video for you. By connecting to Claude via an MCP, we discovered that behind the scenes, Higgsfield uses Claude Fable 5 to do the research and scripting for your explainer videos based on your input. Then, it uses Gemini Omni Flash to generate the video and handle the editing.
There are 21 editing styles that users can choose from, including Editorial Motion Graphics, Stickman Cartoon, Watercolor Chronicle, Fairy Tale & Myth, Paper Diorama, Pastel Flat 2D, and Colorful 3D. The video below is an example explainer video about the “potential” harm of eating bananas that I created using the Stickman Cartoon style.
As you can see, Higgsfield Explainer did a good job at understanding my script and turn it into a funny Stickman animation video. Currently, Higgsfield Explainer uses a preset AI voiceover, so you can not upload your own voiceover for the video.
Higgsfield Soul ID Review
The biggest pain point of using AI for video generation is character consistency. With Higgsfield Sould ID, you can create a character by uploading 20 or more images with different angles. Higgsfield AI model will train using the upload images.
From then on you can add that character using a hashtag @ inside any prompt box on the platform. This feature is very useful for ad campaigns with a recurring brand ambassador, faceless creator channels, anything where the same person has to appear across dozens of clips generated by different models. You can build a still in Nano Banana Pro and animate the same identity in Seedance 2.0.
Input quality decides everything. Twenty excellent images from varied angles produce a usable character. Heavy shadows, sunglasses, inconsistent lighting or busy backgrounds degrade the training and you get corrupted generations.
Higgsfield Supercomputer Review
Higgsfield Supercomputer allows you to chat with an AI agent to build tailored images and videos. Simply describe your vision, and Supercomputer will handle the planning, prompt generation, model selection, image creation, and video assembly. Similar to Claude, you can build custom skills for the agent and attach various reference materials directly in the chat, including images, videos, PDFs, and text files. You can attach reference images, virtual characters (created using Soul ID), product images, extra information about your products, video transcripts, and your brand guidelines to help Higgsfield Supercomputer execute tasks accurately.
Additionally, you can select the latest AI models from Claude, OpenAI, Kimi, Gemini, Grok, or DeepSeek to help with ideation, planning, and execution. You can also connect different third-party platforms to Higgsfield Supercomputer. For example, you can connect your social media accounts like LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, X, or TikTok Ads so that Higgsfield can help you schedule or publish content created with Supercomputer across different social media channels.
To help you speed up your creation process, Higgsfield Supercomputer offers multiple ready-to-use skills, such as faceless-channel-video, tv-ad-director, ugc-creator, and more than 60 others. Not only that, but Higgsfield also lets you create or add an ‘Employee’ (an AI agent) to help you with different tasks, such as cutting long-form videos into short clips or scouting popular ads on social media. You can also install Supercomputer Employees from the community as well.
Higgsfield Supercomputer example: In the example below, I used Higgsfield Supercomputer to generate an AI UGC video featuring a creator reviewing a tennis racket on a sunny court while wearing athletic tennis gear. To drive the generation, I deployed the /ugc-flow skill alongside the Opus 5 (Extra effort) reasoning mode. I purposefully made the prompt vague to test how smart Higgsfield Supercomputer is at creating a complete UGC video without detailed instructions.

Notably, I didn’t supply any initial reference images for the racket or court. However, the AI proactively asked whether I had specific product assets or if it should proceed with a generic, non-branded racket instead.

Once I confirmed my preference, Higgsfield Supercomputer leveraged Claude Opus 5 to expand my prompt, map out the concept, and compile a character sheet along with a multi-angle storyboard to ensure visual accuracy. It even automatically styled the character in appropriate tennis outfit to align with the prompt description.

Users can also see the AI’s thought process at each step. As you can see in the example image below, Higgsfield Supercomputer helps you develop the style, mood, narrative, script, audio, and facial expressions. This is extremely powerful because Higgsfield took my vague instructions and developed a highly detailed storyboard and video plan for my video.

It took 18 minutes to create the finished video with Higgsfield Supercomputer. The tool automatically adds headline hooks and captions for your video. Honestly, Higgsfield Supercomputer created an acceptable video given that I gave a very vague prompt. Even though the script created by the AI could be better in the second half of the clip, if you provide a more detailed prompt about what you want your character to say, the result will be much better.
Higgsfield Canvas Review
Canvas helps you create an automated workflow for your creative project. You can think of it like a place where you organize your prompt, story board, image generations and video generatation for each scene. Each element is the node and you can connect different nodes together to create the entire workflow. There is a built-in chat system that you can use to communicate with your team in the same Canvas. You can also add sticky notes, shapes and texts to note down your ideas, similar like how you are using software like Figma.
The benefit of Higgsfield Canvas is the scalability. Once a your work flow is set up and work smoothly, you can it, swap the product input, swap the character input, change the prompts and generate a whole new campaign.

Other Higgsfield useful image editing features
With text-to-image core engine, Higgsfield also build different feature for specific use cases, including:
- Image and video upscale runs on Topaz Labs model at different scale factor 2x, 4x, 8x or 16x. It makes the picture bigger and the video more details without changing what’s in it. This feature is useful if you already have something good, but still want to make it has higher reslution.
- Relight lets you drag a virtual light source around the frame and set colour, hardness and intensity. There’s no live preview, so you’re positioning a light blind and paying credits to see what you got. Sometimes the output looks unchanged.
- Inpaint paints a mask over an area and describes the change that you want to make.
- Multi-shot generates several angles from one source image in a single call. It’s genuinely useful for building video sequences. It sounds cool but the result depends on how complicated your source image is.
- Draw to Edit gives you a blank canvas or an uploaded image/video and lets you sketch on it. Higgsfield will then use AI to tweak the image or view according to your sketch.
- Popcorn is Higgsfield’s storyboard model. You can feed it reference images and one prompt and it generates storyboard beats automatically. You can also control each frame manually. However, you can still create the storyboard with the original text-to-image feature.
- Mood Board helps you defines style, tone, consistent details, and creative direction based on your uploaded images. You can upload 20 to 30 images with a consistent look, or pick from the built-in boards, then generate with your character in that style.
Other Higgsfield useful video editing features
- Higgsfield Animate (similar to Kling Motion control) let’s up animate a character in static image mimic a preference video. Simply upload your image and video, then the AI will help you animate your character.
- Kling 3.0 Motion Control lets you pick a movement from the motion library or upload a reference video and add a character image. Kling 3.0 will transfers the motion of the reference video to your character image. It copies a performance including hand-through-hair interaction and the reflection in a pair of glasses. Duration isn’t capped at 15 seconds like in th text-to-video tool, because you’re copying movement rather than inventing it.
- Lipsync Studio lets you upload a portrait, type the line, pick a voice actor from the library, and generate the audio. The video will shows your character syas the line with accurate lipsync.
- Vibe Motion is an AI motion graphics generator for typography, vector animation and infographics. It edits the underlying code rather than the pixels. You can give it a vague prompt like “create a video explaining standard deviation using animated charts,” and it returned 40 seconds of correctly formed charts, a correct formula and a bell curve. It isn’t capped at a few seconds like the video models, so you can produce a minute or more.
- Reframe change your original video’s aspect ratio to the new aspect ratio.
- Video Upscale let’s you upscale your video resolution upto 4K using Topaz model. Generate the AI video immediately at 4K is risky because you don’t know if it’s usable, so many user usually generate their video in 720p or 2080p. If they love their output, they can use Video Upscale to improve its resolution. The upscaling can takes more than 10 minutes depending on how long and complex your original video is. If your original video is low quality like 720p, you may gets artifacts after the upscale process.
- Video Edit takes your existing clip and edit it based on your text instruction and attached images.
- Recast Studio swaps a character in your existing video for a different one.
Where Higgsfield falls short
As with other AI aggregator platforms, subscription credits do not roll over, so anything unused at the end of the billing cycle is lost. Top-up credits expire 90 days after purchase. Additionally, the 7-day refund window applies only to initial purchases where zero credits have been used, which means you cannot test the platform after subscribing.
Furthermore, users who claim the “unlimited” mode from a Higgsfield promotion are often placed in a slower queue when generating images or videos. However, it is not excessively slow compared to the standard queue. Based on my experience, it usually takes an extra minute or two for image or video generation when using “unlimited” mode. Note that unlimited mode caps image output at 1K and 2K resolution, so you cannot use it for projects requiring 4K. Unlimited generations are also completely excluded from the MCP, CLI, Canvas, and Supercomputer API.
Finally, among the 40-plus features within Higgsfield, several are duplicates under different names, several run on models that were superseded or became outdated a long time ago, and a handful seem broken. For example, Face Swap and Character Swap are features that do the same job as the standard text-to-image feature. Higgsfield likely created these separate features for beginners who want a simple tool to use without having to write complex prompts.
Who should buy Higgsfield?
Buy Higgsfield if you’re a content creator, small agency, solo business owner, or indie filmmaker who wants to produce video content and ads without paying high costs for actors and video editors. It is ideal if you want to access the latest AI image and video generation models without paying for multiple separate subscriptions.
